This commitment starts with using materials that incorporate post-consumer waste (PCW) fibres and opting for FSC–certified paper to ensure responsible sourcing and promotion of forest conservation efforts. Beyond that, we continually seek to innovate sustainable approaches in our production and shipping operations.
Climate Smart Certification
In 2020, Hemlock Harling proudly achieved Climate Smart certification, demonstrating our commitment to addressing climate change. We actively measure and reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and implement targeted strategies to further reduce our environmental impact.
Guided by the expertise of our parent company, Hemlock Printers, a recognized sustainability leader in North America, we are actively working towards becoming a carbon neutral company.
Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®)
Hemlock Harling achieved FSC certification in 2020, reflecting our commitment to sustainable business practices. This certification represents the highest standard of forest management, meaning that the paper we use comes from well-managed FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, or other controlled sources to be socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable. By offering FSC labels on items we print, we give our customers the confidence that their printed materials align with their values and contribute to a greener future.
